Fibre Offerings:

Hand-spun yarn and thoughtfully made textiles serve as beautiful and tangible connections to our ancestors and animal kin, weaving together stories of tradition, care, and the gentle pace of the natural world.

I make yarn using drop spindles and wool, which is an ancient process that has been used all over the globe since humans invented tools. I share the deep magic of this meditative craft through workshops and private lessons, guiding others to discover the calming rhythm of hand-spinning for themselves. Open to people of all ages.

A woman is teaching children about fiber arts and spinning wool with colorful wool in a classroom. The children are sitting on the wooden floor, watching attentively.
Children gathered around and examining a raw sheep's fleece on a black trash bag, participating in a workshop about wool processing and natural fibres.
Two children sitting on a wood floor near a door, with a paper bag labeled "Wool Pellets" and piles of wool fibers around them, engaged in a sustainable sensory craft activity.

My love for hand-spinning has continued to ripple outwards, and I’m currently developing an online course that will take you through the entire process, at your own pace. This will include sourcing and purchasing wool, processing it, and spinning it on a drop spindle. I plan on sharing every bit of knowledge I’ve acquired in the hopes that it will help people approach this traditional skill with confidence and reverence.

Fine Art Offerings:

Paintings and prints inspired by nature, magic and the Maritimes.

Each painting I create is an expression of the deep and abiding love I have for nature, as well as the unseen magic that exists all around us. I’m drawn in by the colours and textures I experience every time I step outside, and I hope my paintings bring feelings of peace and calm to the collectors of my work, just as the landscapes that inspire them bring peace to me. The Rowan Series

A collection of paintings featuring the magical and mystical Rowan plant. This tree is celebrated all over Europe, with folklore coming to us from Ireland, Scotland, Norway and broader Scandinavia. Interestingly enough, most of the lore across cultures points to the Rowan being a tree of protection. Please contact me if you’d like to purchase a painting!
